Highlights
After a excellent breakfast with a view of the city at the hotel where you arrived the night before, we pack our bags and go to the çevirme village by private vehicles around Mount Ararat (2200 m). Then our guides, who are waiting for us there, will take our tents and other equipment and they will go with our vehicles to the 3200 meters campsite, we’ll arrive at the first campsite. At that time, we take our lunch packages and small backpacks and start climbing towards 3200 meters; the climb will take approximately 4-5 hours, then we will set up our tents in the camping area; we will drink hot or cold drinks (based on your request), have lunch, and eat fruit and snacks. For dinner, you will be offered hot soup and two choices for the main course, and you will sleep in your tents during the first night.(Note: Our vehicles are going to Mount Ararat 3200 camp, if you wish, we can also go by car!)
Our Mount Ararat Tour begins with a comfortable trek to the 3,200-meter Base Camp. Along the way, you will enjoy panoramic views of Mount Ararat while our experienced local guides ensure a safe and enjoyable start to your expedition.
After an excellent breakfast in the morning, we will take our small backpacks and necessary belongings and set off for Mount Ararat 4200 base camp, which will take almost 4-5 hours. Before returning to the first campsite, we will have a rest break at the base camp. After hot and cold drinks and snacks, we will finish dinner; then relax in our tents.
This acclimatization hike is one of the most important parts of the Mount Ararat Expedition. It helps your body adapt to the altitude and increases your chances of reaching the 5,137-meter summit safely.
After breakfast in the morning, we will climb towards the 4200 base camp, and the horses will take our carriage. After the climb, which will last 4-5 hours, we will have hot drinks and lunch. We will prepare for the next day’s routine in the afternoon and check the equipment. For the Ararat 5137 m summit journey, where we will go out in the evening, we will have dinner earlier than usual; then we will return to our tents and spend the night resting.
After arriving at High Camp, our guides will provide a detailed summit briefing and equipment check to prepare you for the early morning ascent to Mount Ararat’s summit.
We will wake up around 1-2 a.m. and have breakfast and hot drinks; then, we will take the necessary supplies and lunch packages and start climbing towards the peak of the Ağrı. We will reach the highest point in Türkiye within 6-7 hours. We will have celebrations and photo shoots. Then we will return to the base camp 4200 m to get something to eat. After the preparations, we will move towards the point where the vehicles are waiting for us. After a short break at 3200 meters intervals, we will get into our cars. They will be waiting for us at 2200 meters and transferring to our hotel. Decembers. We will spend the evening with a nice meal and celebration in the hotel with the city view.(the next day after breakfast, you will be transferred to Ağrı, Iğdır or van Airport by our private vehicles.)
Reaching the summit of Mount Ararat at sunrise is an unforgettable experience. After celebrating your achievement, we safely descend with our guides and return to Dogubayazit, completing one of the most rewarding trekking adventures in Turkey.

How difficult is the 4-Day Mount Ararat Tour?
The 4-Day Mount Ararat Tour is suitable for hikers with a good level of fitness. While no technical climbing skills are required, the high altitude makes the trek physically demanding.
Do I need previous climbing experience?
No previous mountaineering experience is required. Our professional mountain guides provide support throughout the expedition, making it suitable for first-time high-altitude trekkers.
Is the Mount Ararat climbing permit included?
Yes. All official Mount Ararat climbing permits are included in the tour price and are arranged before your arrival.
What is included in the 4-Day Mount Ararat Tour?
The tour includes professional mountain guides, airport transfers, hotel accommodation, camping equipment, meals during the expedition, mule transportation for luggage, and all required climbing permits.
When is the best time to climb Mount Ararat?
The best climbing season is from June to September, when weather conditions are generally stable and ideal for reaching the summit.

Mount Ararat stands at 5,137 meters (16,854 ft), making it the highest mountain in Turkey.
What equipment should I bring?
You should bring sturdy hiking boots, warm layered clothing, gloves, a hat, sunglasses, sunscreen, and a comfortable backpack. A detailed packing list will be provided after your booking is confirmed.
How long does summit day take?
Summit day usually begins around midnight. The ascent takes approximately 6–7 hours, followed by the descent back to Base Camp before returning to Dogubayazit.
Travel: Recommended arrival and departure airport is : IGDIR (There are winter flights available via Istanbul). Alternatively Transfers VAN or AGRI airports is also available to a minimum extra cost.

Luggage transfers & logistics : Luggage transfer on hiking (Walking) days is included and your baggages will transfered from the current hotel to the next one. After the checkout you will leave the baggages at the hotel reception and begin to hike. On arrival to the next hotel , baggages will there waiting for you arrival.
