Since 1994 our company organizes trekking tours to Mount Ararat. Hundreds of participants have already shared with us their dream to step on the top of the Mount Ararat.
In 2023, another trekking tour to Mount Ararat will be organized and this is a great chance to join one of our many groups for this adventure of a lifetime.
Mount Ararat is not only breathtaking to look at, but it is also Turkey’s tallest peak. This mountain is a popular choice due to its simple access, relatively straightforward ascent compared to other mountains in the area, and well-organized features.
The actual Mount Ararat hike lasts five days, with four nights spent camping on the mountain’s flanks. While Mount Ararat’s last 200 meters demand the use of crampons and ice axes, substantial technical climbing skills are not necessary to ascend the summit.

Ararat may be the easiest among the world’s five-thousanders, so if you plan on starting to hike up high altitude mountains, then Ararat is a perfect option for that. But even if it’s the easiest one that doesn’t mean that you don’t have to be prepared for it.
From the dry and arid highlands around Mount Ararat to the stunning panoramic views from its summit, any hiking trip to the top of this mighty peak is full of gorgeous scenery and incredible views. The stark landscape serves as quite a contrast to other mountain ranges, but provides it with a unique – almost otherworldly – beauty.
We will pick you up from either Van, Iğdır, or Ağrı airports with our private vehicles and transfer you to our hotel in Doğubayazıt. We will have a traditional dinner with an excellent historical view of the city at our hotel. Then we will rest in our rooms to climb to the 3200-meter campsite for the next day.
After having an excellent breakfast at our hotel, accompanied by a city view in the morning, we pack our bags and go to the çevirme village by private vehicles around Mount Ararat (2200 m). Then our guides, who are waiting for us there, will take our tents and other equipment and they will go with our vehicles to the 3200 meters campsite, we’ll arrive at the first campsite. At that time, we take our lunch packages and small backpacks and start climbing towards 3200 meters; the climb will take approximately 4-5 hours, then we will set up our tents in the camping area; we will drink hot or cold drinks (based on your request), have lunch, and eat fruit and snacks. For dinner, you will be offered hot soup and two choices for the main course, and you will sleep in your tents during the first night.(Note: Our vehicles are going to Mount Ararat 3200 camp, if you wish, we can also go by car!)
After an excellent breakfast in the morning, we will take our small backpacks and necessary belongings and set off for Mount Ararat 4200 base camp, which will take almost 4-5 hours. Before returning to the first campsite, we will have a rest break at the base camp. After hot and cold drinks and snacks, we will finish dinner; then relax in our tents.
After breakfast in the morning, we will climb towards the 4200 base camp, and the horses will take our carriage. After the climb, which will last 4-5 hours, we will have hot drinks and lunch. We will prepare for the next day’s routine in the afternoon and check the equipment. For the Ararat 5137 m summit journey, where we will go out in the evening, we will have dinner earlier than usual; then we will return to our tents and spend the night resting.
We will wake up around 1-2 a.m. and have breakfast and hot drinks; then, we will take the necessary supplies and lunch packages and start climbing towards the peak of the Ağrı. We will reach the highest point in Türkiye within 6-7 hours. We will have celebrations and photo shoots. Then we will return to the base camp 4200 m to get something to eat. After the preparations, we will move towards the point where the vehicles are waiting for us. After a short break at 3200 meters intervals, we will get into our cars. They will be waiting for us at 2200 meters and transferring to our hotel. Decembers. We will spend the evening with a nice meal and celebration in the hotel with the city view.
After the traditional breakfast at our hotel, we will visit several tourist attractions in Doğubayazıt.

-Visit the Noah’s Ark museum and district
-the 2nd largest in the world, located on the Iranian border. We will visit the meteor pit.
-We will try the Turkish bath in Doğubayazıt and witness unforgettable memories.
We will transfer you to the airport with our private vehicles when we pick you up from your hotel.
Travel: Recommended arrival and departure airport is : IGDIR (There are winter flights available via Istanbul). Alternatively Transfers VAN or AGRI airports is also available to a minimum extra cost.

Luggage transfers & logistics : Luggage transfer on hiking (Walking) days is included and your baggages will transfered from the current hotel to the next one. After the checkout you will leave the baggages at the hotel reception and begin to hike. On arrival to the next hotel , baggages will there waiting for you arrival.
